What is Health?

Once upon a time I would've judged this according to how my body looked, how hard I had worked out in the gym or how much I could get done in a day. Little did I realise back then that I was destroying myself because I was destroying my connection.

Health is Holistic

As Maya Tiwari says

‘Health is not the separate pursuit of the perfect body, or the forging of an intellectual mind, or even the austere practices for the spirit. The life to which the sages (wise people) refer to in Ayurveda is the solid union of body, mind and spirit. It is a balance of these three factors, and the further integration of each self with nature, family and all living beings. When we recognise fragmentation to be the source of illness, we may begin to benefit from the practices of a holistic life’
