Yoga in Sign Language

True Yoga helps us to create inner peace and with inner peace we can face anything. My own journey with Yoga has spanned the last twenty five years, and I am still learning. Yoga Asana (the exercise part) is one aspect of Yoga, and there is so much more to Yoga than we first realise. It is a lifelong journey of the self. If you choose to practice with me you can expect my classes to contain spiritual, ethical, mental & physical aspects of Yoga.

Chair Yoga
This class is for those who want to practice the art of Yoga but have limited mobility, issues with balance or want a more relaxing & grounding practice, where we are face to face throughout the class. You may be new to Yoga or have practiced before, either way you are very welcome.

Yin Yoga
These are course based classes where you will build your knowledge and empower your self practice.

Yin Yoga iis a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that focuses on deep stretching and stillness to target the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than just the muscles. It involves holding poses for an extended period, typically 3-5 minutes or longer, allowing for deep relaxation and increased flexibility.

This practice emphasizes mindfulness and inner awareness, often incorporating elements of meditation or breathwork. Yin Yoga is particularly effective for calming the nervous system, improving joint mobility, and fostering a sense of balance and serenity.
